Leadership for better or worse affects the world. I’m Elise with Woodworth Enterprises and we are excited about leadership, business, and innovation and want to share that excitement with you. Follow us for weekly insights on these topics. I introduced myself in another article. In this article, I’d like to introduce our mission. Having a clear mission is an important part of the success of an organization. It states why your group exists. Written well, it will be motivating and inspirational to everyone in your company, and easily relatable to your ideal client. If you don’t have a mission statement, or are thinking of changing yours. I hope this one inspires you.
You may have noticed our hashtag is #igniteinspiregrow. It summarizes our mission to ignite tomorrow’s leaders, inspire todays, and help develop teams that will shape history. Walk through this statement with me and you’ll have a better understanding of what we do, why we exist.
Igniting Tomorrow’s Leaders
Anyone can learn and understand leadership skills. We teach those skills and ignite that passion in people. We’ve worked with elementary and high school students introducing them to leadership concepts and ideas. Sometimes tomorrow’s leaders are growing inside your organization. We help flip the switch of understanding. Which, as they take on more responsibility, allows them to start conducting themselves as a leader,
Inspiring Todays Leaders
If you are already in a leadership position, your passion and desire to lead need to be nourished through the appreciation of its impact. Leadership training, videos, articles, aren’t just educational they are food for thought and affirmation to those who lead. We seek out and create opportunities to inspire leaders and enable them to achieve what they set their minds to.
Develop Teams that Will Shape History
Forming, storming, norming, preforming; the commonly used team development phases. I have too often seen teams stuck in one phase or another, never fully realizing their true performance potential. Sports, business, nonprofit; the type of team does not matter. Unlocking a team’s potential takes team building, hard work, and good leadership. Unlocking that potential creates a team that will shape history. We develop innovative solutions designed to ignite and inspire the target audience, create a shared experience, and strengthen a team’s bond or groups culture.
