May Brings New Ways to Grow Your Board with Clarity and Confidence

In the spirit of Business Not Battle, this season is about choosing clarity over chaos and purpose over pressure. It is about giving nonprofit leaders practical tools that strengthen their boards without adding strain.

Every spring brings a sense of renewal. For many nonprofit leaders, it also brings a familiar question. How do we strengthen our board in a way that supports our mission and prepares us for the work ahead

This May, I am opening three resources designed to help you answer that question and find new ways to grow your board with clarity and confidence. Each one meets leaders where they are and gives them a practical next step toward building a board that is aligned, engaged, and ready to lead.

Here is what is now available.

If you want a simple and powerful way to articulate your mission, the Champions Elevator Pitch is ready for you. Our most requested activity is now a guided exercise that helps you express your purpose with clarity and confidence. Leaders use it to prepare for meetings, presentations, and conversations where every word matters. It is also a tool you can bring to your board to help them speak about your mission with unity and purpose.

The Four Champions Story is now available as an audio experience. This story helps leaders see themselves more clearly and understand the qualities that shape strong leadership cultures. It is reflective, practical, and easy to share with your team. If you want a moment of clarity in the middle of a busy season, this is a meaningful place to begin.

For organizations ready to take a focused step toward strengthening their board, Phase One of the Board Growth Blueprint is now open for May. This is a practical starting point that gives you the clarity you need to understand your current board, identify gaps, and prepare for intentional growth.

Phase One includes the Blueprint overview, the Ideal Board Composition Framework, the Board Information Sheet Template, the Board Member Interest Form, and a sixty-minute clarity session to help you interpret your findings and define your next steps.

If you choose to continue into the full Board Growth Blueprint, your investment in Phase One will be applied to the tier you select.

The Nonprofit Mission Focused Mixer Returns This Month

We also have a Mission Focused Mixer coming up in a few weeks. This quarterly gathering brings nonprofit leaders together for connection, clarity, and conversation. It is a space to learn from one another, share challenges, and explore practical ways to strengthen your mission and your board. If you want to meet other leaders who are navigating similar questions, the Mixer is a welcoming place to begin.

We'll explore how curiosity and discovery shape stronger leadership, healthier teams, and more aligned missions. The Mixer blends networking, education, and discussion for a high impact way to end your week.

This session features a panel of industry experts sharing real stories, practical insights, and the questions that helped them unlock new perspectives in their work. You’ll hear from:

  • Chris Wong, Nonprofit Leadership Expert — Leadership Potential

  • Robin McGlothin, Fundraising Expert — Good Plan Group

  • Kajal Jain, AI Implementation Expert — Purdue University

  • Steve Sewell, Relational Leadership Expert  — Encouraging Hope

Come connect, learn, and leave with fresh ways to approach the challenges and opportunities in front of you. Registration is open!
